Have so much to tell!
Thursday, June 4th:
Steve arrived! soooo happy!
Friday, June 5th:
Thank goodness for good weather! We took the ferry to Toronto Island, rented Quadricycles (which were traded in for regular bicycles when we realized how difficult it was to ride the Quadricycles), and took in the day. Upon returning to downtown Toronto, we headed to Yonge-Dundas Square, where the Luminato Festival was kicking off. We met an older Torontoian couple in the beer gardens, who brought with them interesting conversation. It was going to be awhile until Randy Bachman hit the stage, so we decided to go eat dinner at Imperial Pub on Dundas St., just East of Yonge. It was pretty good, and very filling...and beer was served in these giant mugs!
Randy Bachman was awesome, and though it was hard to stand on concrete for so long, I think Steve enjoyed it too. Jen met us for his set too, which was awesome because we started singing the songs to each other.
Saturday, June 6th:
Canada's Wonderland day! Much to my body and internal clock's dismay, we [Meg, Steve, me] woke up really early to make sure we were at the park fairly early on. Despite arriving 1/2 hour after the park opened, it was a Saturday and full of kids, thus we still had to wait an hour and a half to go on our first ride. We got in about 3-4 rides, plus the waterpark, so I guess it was worth it....Next time, it'd be more worthwhile to go on a weekday before school lets out. We also had foot long hot dogs (haven't had that in a while!) and I got an ICEE, my first one in a number of years.
After going home and freshening up, we hit King Street for dinner, trying the Red Tomato (the second time, for me)...again, it was delicious and the price was right. We were all pretty exhausted, so we headed home for good afterwards.
Sunday, June 7th:
Steve's last full day in Toronto :( We didn't want to do anything too strenuous because we were still tired from the last few days, so we grabbed some cheap candy (thanks, dollarama) and met Meg at the theatre to see X-Men Origins: Wolverine which was really good--now I have to see the other X-Men movies!
In order to limit required walking, we ate dinner at Spring Roll, also very good.
Monday, June 8th:
Took Steve to the airport! Saaaaaad face. Had a relatively slow day, besides going to another job interview that evening.
Wednesday, June 10th:
Met H's friend A, who took me around to the restaurant districts in Toronto, gave me pointers on applying for jobs, told me where NOT to apply, etc etc. Much appreciated, and hopefully it comes in handy.
Friday, June 12th:
Had 2 interviews, one went well but job turned out to be ridic, one went terrible, based on my non-experience at serving. The day redeemed itself when I bought Jet tickets--they're playing Toronto July 6th! In addition, Meg and I went to the Thea-tah to see The Hangover...seriously hilarous!
Uneventful weekend, But I have been reading quite a bit, as well as watching a lot of movies. I watched He's Just Not That Into You, Confessions of a Shopaholic, Revolutionary Road, Rachel Getting Married, Penelope, and The Soloist.
This weekend, on the other hand, has been much more exciting, but I want to get outside and enjoy the sun for a bit...I'll try to update again later today!

1) because you said wolverine was a good movie, you should NEVER watch the other x-men movies, as it made us devoted x-men fans sick to our stomachs. i wanted to cry after i saw it, i hated it so much! we laughed out loud in many parts.... and it was NOT A COMEDY!
2) did revolutionary road not make you want to run to paris? i love.
who is this?
1) I'm ok with watching crap movies most of the time...I'm not a fanatic about continuity or anything
2) revolutionary road...was interesting...not sure if it made me want to move to paris, but it was a nice film.
