ahh behind again. I just haven't been in the mood to write, but my mood is in the process of changing, what with Steve coming to visit tomorrow!
Friday, May 22nd:
I had my first shift at TM here! The work is exactly the same, the only things that are different are the customers, co-workers, and venue maps. Kinda neat starting a new job and knowing what to do already.
Saturday, May 23rd:
Another shift! A looong shift! The event, Seseme Street Live, was fun to work...not many angry customers at all, everyone was there to enjoy themselves.
Sunday, May 24th:
Picnic! At High Park! While we didn't get a chance to have a good look around, Meg and I approve, based on it's park/cabin/beach-like properties. I wish I had a bike here so we could do it up in style. Picnic was a potluck so I brough perogies, I hope the other ladies liked them! Afterwards, I went back to Meg's, where we ate dinner and watched Footloose. We have decided to learn the end dance from the movie for our next bar night. It's going to be amazing.
Monday, May 25th: NOTHING, besides talking with the rents over SKYPE, which does not work well with my internet connection, lemme tell ya.
Tuesday, May 26th:
I won premiere tickets for Away We Go so Meg and I met for dinner and then went to the movie. It was fabulous! two very enthusiastic thumbs up.
Wednesday, May 27th:
Pouring. Didn't leave house.
Thursday, May 28th:
Still raining, but decided I had to leave the house sometime. Went to Dufferin Mall to apply for jobs and then buy a fan and mattress pad. I was successful for the latter two activities! Also watched Glee Club, one of Fox's new shows and I was pleasantly surprised.
Friday, May 29th:
Partay! One of my roommates was leaving Toronto, so we had a dinner party. There was so much delicious food! Afterwards, we went to the bar to meet some friends. Good night all around.
saturday, May 30th:
Due to our late night, I slept very late at Meg's, even while we were watching The Departed. I went home eventually, then watched more movies on tv, The Little Black Book and The Breakup, both being decent. I also made curry! Based loosely on Steve's mum's recipe, I think I did pretty good.
Sunday, May 31st:
Went to the library, got some books out, hung around all day.
This week was just a write-off. We'll leave it at that.
