Who knew there was a difference between hand rolls and maki rolls? Obviously, not I. Despite the fact that I ordered the wrong roll type, I am told the sushi was still delicious. So yay.

I spent way more than I should've (based on the hours I've been working) at my good friend Joe's on monday, but I'm happy with all of my purchases so that is the only thing that matters. besides, a lot of the stuff I bought is for the summer months as well. It's an investment in workplace attire/awesome shiz. I'm pretty much just offering to stay late all this week, haha, so that my paycheque will cover it; otherwise, I'll have to dip into my savings and I just don't want to have to do that.

I will have pictures up in the future, mainly because I want to e-mail Joe and say "please make me your spokesperson, since I'm doing it for free at the moment!"

I hope I will hear about my summer job soon---I wish to work at the same office as last summer, so hopefully everything comes up milhouse for that!

Since I've been working at the Brier all week and I've been too lazy to make dinner, I've been eating at the MTS Centre quite a bit...chicken on Sunday, Sushi yesterday, and likely more throughout the week. All day, I see people walk by with frozen yogurt.

Me: sweetups. i think tonight is TCBY night.
Heather: I should hope so.

ahahaha.

Thank you, Winnipeg Free Press. I recently (Well, about a month ago), found out about a great sushi restaurant that is downtown, cheap, and delicious. And finally, it is starting to get the recognition it deserves.

Yuki Sushi is located in the legendary McLaren Hotel on Main Street and while it may seem like a sketch location, I assure you it is not. No, I haven't gotten food poisoning or salmonella: the worst I've felt after eating there is from being stuffed to the bone. No lie.

Since you may be wary about the location STILL I invite all of you work buddies to order something from the menu while we all hurry hard at the Brier this week. I've scanned the menu so you can take a look at it....cheers!

I have a very busy next 7 days so there will likely be no updates, but know that
a) shopping at my new buddy Superstore! I'm waiting for them to make me a Joe Fresh spokesperson
b) potential sushi on Tuesday, whoot!
c) possible dance party on Saturday...boy's doing the music somewhere...
