happy tomorrow again!

Alright, so I did my tax return...*yay*, but I was disappointed to learn that I wasn't getting much back. At least I don't have to pay anything yet but who knows when that'll change.

I worked my little butt off yesterday on The Bottom Line...in the span of 2 days I worked on it for probably 20+ hours, and it's probably the best issue out of the three--better articles, better images, better layout. I'm excited to see the printed copy. And I will be updating the website as soon as I get some motivation.

Instead, tonight, I had better get started on a powerpoint presentation that my prof sprung on us yesterday and is due tomorrow. Who does that? It's going to be awesome because of my group (of 3--most other groups have 4-6 members), I'm the only one who has commited any time to working on it. Yep, yep.

I'm just semi-happy--we'll put it at neutral because at long last, the summer jobs are popping up so I'm not feeling so worried about the summer. I WILL find a job, I WILL be able to afford rent and food, I WILL find a way to pay for my remaining year of university, and dammit, I WILL have fun while doing it!

Everything else: incomplete.

I am so sick of school, I just want my b.comm and to get out of here! not because my classes are too difficult, but because I'm having a really hard time just getting everything done and work two jobs and keep up with all of my other obligations. I haven't even gotten my Hallowe'en costume yet!

Stuff on the horizon for this week:
-Buying/preparing my Hallowe'en costume
-Working on the BL--we want it out in the first two weeks of November
-Finishing my group's Consumer Behaviour project...it involved doing a photo shoot yesterday morning, while there was a wind warning and everything!
-Start marking for one of my jobs...It takes me so long to get started because my assignments take precedence
-Lenny Kravitz on Wednesday, The Watchmen/Waking Eyes on Thursday, and JET SET SATELLITE on Friday!
-Class: um...now.

oh, school.

Good evening. I do feel ashamed that I include "maintaining a blog" on all of my resumes. Sigh. Well, school has once again started and I'm already sick of it. haha, well, not really. But I've got a lot of work ahead of me this year. My classes sound interesting enough...consumer behaviour, productions, Cost Management Accounting, and Canadian History (well...maybe not so much here, but I needed an elective).

The bottomline stuff is up! http://csabottomline.blogspot.com We are already starting work on the next issue...there is really no downtime! I think I'm going to write an article for this issue. Should be a hoot.
