I started my new job on June 11th. The job itself is easy, co-workers are nice. My goals in the next few weeks are to find a garbage can for my cubicle and a stapler that doesn't get stuck with each attempt to staple timesheets.
We held Holly's bachelorette party on the 14th. Everyone had a good time! We went to the Old spaghetti Factory, then to late night bingo at the casino.
On Friday, we had pre-rehearsal lunch with the relatives, rehearsal at the church, and the rehearsal dinner at B's parents' house.
June 16th was w-day...the church ceremony was excellent, and the wedding was fantastic. we had a kickin' time.
I was able to volunteer for the Jazz Festival and I had a fun time. I think, the best event I worked was the Derek Trucks Band, he was great.
I also worked at Roger Waters which was amazing...and extremely loud. I was surprised. The effects were really good, and Roger wasn't too bad.
The past, Canada Day weekend was fairly hectic. Friday, I came home after both jobs and relaxed at home. On Saturday, I went to a graduation party, then volunteered at the Jazz Fest. Then stayed at S's house. We went to brunch at the Pancake House on Canada Day. Later in the day, we were to go to Assiniboine Park to see Emm Gryner, Kyle Riabko, and the Waking Eyes; however, it started pouring and by the time we got to the park, they cancelled the concert. By then, it was hot and sunny (and this was at 7pm!). Oh well. I stayed over at S's house again that night, and the next morning we went to Winnipeg Beach. S's family has their boat there so we drove it out to the lake and jumped into the water. It was nice and hot.
We got back in time for the White Stripes...they had signs up saying no cameras, but it wasn't enforced at all.
More on the ol' photobucket.
Time fo'bed.
