GAAAA, I'm done school and I still can't remember to update.
Well, I don't have too much to update regarding concerts. May has been extremely slow in regards to that.
I think (well, I know) that part of this has to due with my lack of computer. Since before the time of my last post, it has been very finicky (aka, if you turn it off, it takes about 20 reboots to start it up and keep it on) and slowly progressed to not turning on at all. Steve and I have been waiting for ram that he ordered off Ebay, and apparently, it was sent to Calgary instead of Winnipeg. That ram was supposed to go to Steve, and half of his 2GB was to go to me, the other was to sell on ebay. Well, he sold that gig off and needed to ship it. he brought one 512 stick so we could at least build my computer and get Windows on it, etc etc. He came to my house a couple nights ago, I thought, oh good, he's bringing the external drive with my music and pictures, but no. He needed his ram back to play a video game! So I'm still SOL
If the expense of a completely new computer minus the monitor isn't enough, my lil' 1GB mp3 player which has been with me since the beginning bit the dust. The one button that doesn't work is the on/off button. So unable to fathom an hour long bus ride without music, I made an overnight decision to buy an ipod; specifically, a 30GB Video ipod, in black.
Her name is Rosie and I think she is one of the best things that's happened to me, portable music-wise. It's going to be even more fabulous once I get my ram back so I can organize my 1400+ songs, plus download SVU and put it on there to watch one the way to work.
Speaking of which, work pretty much is ridiculous this week. I've been working the Bombers season ticket distribution and it's just a whole lotta nonsense. So much confusion if: the tickets aren't in one of the containers, someone doesn't have proof of identification (a letter they were mailed out) or if they are picking up for their billions of friends without a letter of permission. Plus the hour long bus ride, one way, Subway being the only nearby (within walking distance) food provider, and no microwave! Only 5 more days of insanity, including a 4 day break! whoohoo.
Out.
