Now, I'm Canadian...I like Tim Hortons as much as the next person, despite working at a rival Canadian coffee shop, but I was upset that, last Friday, upon ordering a tea, the HONEY to put in my tea was nearly as expensive as the tea itself. And it wasn't enough, but as Tim Horton's doesn't take interac, and I had borrowed money from my sister to go out that night, I couldn't very well ask for more. So I wrote a comment card in the only writing utensil I had, a sharpie, and just now called the toll-free customer service line. The lady on the other end was appalled, as she took down my info. Now, I know I'm probably going to get some free stuff out of this, which is partly what I wanted...compensation! But I also want this rule to be changed, (which wasn't a rule in the first place, it's just the ignorance of the staff at that location). My current Marketing teacher tells us that we should complain more often, and I concur. I feel like too many people complain about retarded things like "oh, there's a pickle on my burger and I'm too snooty to pick it off" or "I have whipped cream on my mocha and I didn't ask for it and don't feel like scooping it off even though there are 20 people in line waiting for a drink, still". Not enough people complain about stuff that should be changed, like if they said they were allergic to something and that something was still put on the item, or like that they had to pay extra for something that is against company policy.

Almost done my cold, except it went in reverse order, so now I have a sore throat and I'm still pretty phlegmy, but fine other than that.

Midterm and test tomorrow, I'm not too worried about either.

And of course, Paton and Tim. Hehe. We can only hope Paton recovers from his sprained wrist and bronchitis to play bass and sing on 3 days.
