this hallowe'en was pretty crazy. My costume ended up looking like this
So on Saturday (I realize that I already wrote an entry after that day) my friends and I got dressed and went to two different parties, but both were duds, so we ended up in a Boston pizza, then at S's house. My friends costumes? awesome.
Jamie wore a tastefully skanky demoness costume. Unfortunately, the camera wasn't rolling for her arrival.
Yesterday was the Hallowe'en Commerce Social. this is a 3000 person sell out every year and this was no exception. the costumes were awesome. Among the ones that stood out: a leprecaun, complete with beard and pipe; a package of 6 bottles of Lucky Beer, in a cardboard container (they all moved together, it was amazing); the sailor moon group, with all of 'em!; I Love Lucy; and the showgirl, complete with headdress. I left with one of my friends before the completion of the social, to try to catch Thornley at the Zoo. We missed the first 4 songs, but also got in for 1/2 price! The show wasn't the greatest. Ian broke his amp and, somewhat understandably, in a bad mood. They didn't stay to sign autographs and such.
Today was uneventful except for S coming over (yay!) and dying my hair. Well, just highlighted. Thanks s. you'd be a great hairdresser if you wanted to do that in a future career...which you don't, I know.
and yay for friends finding guys...that are friends with my other friend. Just make sure not to involve me and I will therefore not be able to unintentionally ruin your relationships! Whoo...
Love, me.
